On TV his diverse recurring and guest-starring appearances include such shows as “Prison Break” “NCIS” “Jane the Virgin” “New Girl” “CSI Miami,” “Supah Ninjas” “Cory in the House” “Without a Trace,” "ER," "The War At Home" "Monk," "Halfway Home" "George Lopez," "The West Wing," "JAG," "Frazier," "Seinfeld," and “Star Trek: Next Generation” as Acost Jared, Leader of Ventax 2.

His extensive Voice Career finds him playing Laurent in the English version of “Toys in the Attic.” “Pinky and the Brain,” “Batman: The Animated Series,” “The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest” and “King of the Hill.” He has also contributed additional voices to, “Kung Fu Panda II” “Madagascar II” "Over The Hedge," "Shrek II," “Shark Tale,” "Apocalypto," "Passion of the Christ." He also brings to life various characters in some of the best selling video games on the market including the mega hits, “Bio Shock” and “Bio Shock II.”

 

As a Theatre actor, Marcelo has appeared at “The Mark Taper,” “Yale Rep.,” “Milwaukee Rep.,” “New Mexico Rep.,” “Taper, Too,“ “The Old Globe,” in San Diego, “Ojai Playwright’s Festival,” and “Sundance Playwright’s Festival.” He received the 2005 Ovation Award as Best Supporting Actor for his work in "San Fran Scapin," an adaptation of Moliere's "Scapin." Marcelo is a founding member of the “Antaeus Classical Theater Company” in Los Angeles, where he performed in such memorable plays as, “Henry IV, Part I” “You Can’t Take it With You,” “The Wood Demon,” “The Man Who Had All the Luck,” “Patience,” “Trial by Jury,” and “Of Mice of Men.”

 

Born in Argentina, Marcelo moved with his family to Southern California at the age of 7. A devoted family man, Marcelo and his wife, Lori, have two daughters, Emily, a pro golfer, and Sarah, an aspiring Actress, Make-Up Artist, and Captain of The USA Deaf Woman’s Volleyball Team. Marcelo's passions include fly fishing and cooking, which he shares with his daughters.
